		How can I get to the websites I read about?
		First, open the Web browser like MS Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator, and then click on Open Page from the File menu. A small window labeled Open Page will appear where you can enter the address of the page you wish to see. Finally, click on Open to see the page.
		What is a URL?
		URL stands for "Uniform Resource Locator". The URL is the address of a web page. Example www.p-i-s.com
		What are Internet Browsers?
		Internet Browsers are programs used to browser and navigate the Internet Web for Websites.
		Where can I get an Internet Browser?

		What does downloading mean?
		Downloading means retrieving files from a remote site on the Internet and placing these files on your.
		How can I save an image from a homepage?
		First, go to the desired address, then place the mouse cursor over the image you want to save, and click the right mouse button, then a short menu appears and select Save Image As option which will popup a small window labeled Save As to save the image at Computer drive.
		What is a Search Engine?
		Search engines are homepages on the Internet, which allows you to search for any subject you desire simply by entering a word into the appropriate place and pressing search. Search results are a number of possible web sites the contain information regarding the subject you searching to choose from. 		What is FTP?
		FTP is a protocol called File Transfer Protocol, which allows you to transfer files from any server to your machine or to another server.
		Why can't I connect to P-I-S?
		If you have a problem connecting to P-I-S network, please check the following: 1- Modem configured and connected to the phone inlet. 2-Network Dial-up configurations.
		What is an email address?
		Email stands for Electronic Mail. It's a digital mean of transmitting messages via phone lines to other people's computers. Your email is user-name@p-i-s.com
		What is the fastest way to access my email account?
		Using P-I-S Web Mail home page.
		Why can't I download my email?
		By using P-I-S Web Mail or following these steps 1- Make sure that the POP3 and SMTP servers are configured to mail.p-i-s.com 2- The username and password are entered correctly.
		Can I get my email even when I'm not connected to P-I-S?
		Yes, through using P-I-S Web Mail or by configuring P-I-S mail server mail.p-I-s.com in the POP3 section and entering your P-I-S username and password and you can download mail to any computer in the world as log as it is connected to the Internet.
		What are attachments?
		Attachments are files that could be sent with an email message. When you write an email message simply click on "attachments" and choose the desired file and it will be sent with the email message.
		Is there a limit to my mailbox size?
		Yes. Each P-I-S users gets 5MB of mailbox space. This is more than enough space even if a person is to receive several messages with attachments. Just make sure that the mail does not remain on P-I-S servers after it is downloaded, because this could cause the mail to be disabled if the amount of mailbox space is larger than 5MB.
		What are signatures and how can I add a signature to my mail messages?
		Signatures are short text that automatically attach to the end of any email message sent. They can be added by choosing the signature option in the email program and either entering the required signature text or inserting the path to where the signature file is placed.
		How do I make sure that I have disconnected my phone line after using the Internet?
		1- A simple way would be to pick up the phone and hear the tone 2- Run winipcfg command and make sure that the IP address shown is 0.0.0.0.
		Why do I get disconnected as soon as my username and password are verified?
		Either the username or password is entered incorrectly. Please be noted that capital and small letters do make a difference when trying to connect.
		How do I check if my modem is working properly?
		Double click on the modems icon in the Control Panel, then go to diagnostics and click on the port where the modem is. Then, click on more info. If no error messages appear then the modem is working fine.
		How can I mute the modem while it's dialing?
		Double click on the modems icon in the Control Panel and then clicking on properties. You can then choose the volume of the modem.
